Nike SB and Rassvet reunite to reintroduce the Nike SB Zoom Tennis Classic, a silhouette rooted in heritage and reimagined for a new generation of skateboarders.

Built around the belief that Every Dawn Counts, the collaboration celebrates the quiet determination behind progress: the early mornings before the world wakes up, the unseen repetitions, and the understanding that every new beginning carries meaning.

For Rassvet founder, designer, and professional skateboarder Tolya Titaev, the project is deeply personal. Growing up, the Nike SB Air Classic (previous name of the SB Zoom Tennis Classis) was one of the shoes he dreamed of owning. Years later, he returned to the Nike SB archives to revisit the silhouette that shaped his early relationship with skateboarding.

The result is a contemporary reinterpretation infused with details that reflect his own journey. A Blue Void-to-Black gradient references the transition from night to dawn, while subtle nods to Dan Murphy’s Air Classic SB colorway. The gradient laces evolving color palette mirrors the first light of morning, transforming darkness into possibility, revisiting a defining chapter in the silhouette's cultural legacy. It is a full-circle moment : a childhood dream revisited, redesigned, and realized.

The Nike SB Zoom Tennis Classic x Rassvet arrives in a Blue Void and Sail colourway. The upper is crafted from premium smooth leather featuring a Blue Void-to-Black gradient, paired with a custom gradient sockliner inspired by sunrise. The Sail midsole is finished with a black wear-away coating that gradually reveals itself through skating, creating a visual record of progression over time. Three interchangeable lace options offer opportunities for personal expression, while skate-specific adaptations enhance performance without compromising the silhouette's original character. The result balances heritage and evolution, honouring the past while adapting it for today's skateboarders.

The campaign brings together skateboarding, ballet and drums ; three different disciplines yet sharing similarities through a shared rhythm of repetition, failure, adjustment, and growth. Different practices, same process. Again and again, until it finally works. It is always darkest before dawn. The collaboration launches with an exclusive event in Paris on June 23rd. The first release will be available exclusively at the Paris pop-up, Dover Street Market Paris, and through Rassvet's e-commerce platform.
